Frozen

For my last site design at Disney, I had the opportunity to co-Art Direct the Frozen theatrical website. During my tenure, I had never had the opportunity to work on one of the big theatrical sites and jumped at the chance!

The main concept for the site was to use the strong seasonal motifs as the main drivers for interaction. We were able to incorporate fun interactive elements within the site to show off the beautiful imagery for the summer and winter seasons. In addition, we were able to layer in visual richness by using ambient effects and express character personality through animation. The site was developed as a HTML5 experience and was primarily designed for desktop and tablet and a separate experience was designed for mobile. The styling of the navigation was kept crisp and clean (like ice!) and popped off nicely from the lush backgrounds.
